Kendrick Lamar draped himself in prison attire with neon lighting on it which was visible during his 2016 GRAMMYs Performance to send a message to the state of the United States from the underprivileged neighborhoods to the White House. The force in his passionate performance helped bring the grievances of the black community among others to the front to a stunned audience by the controversial stance.

Police brutality and gang related lifestyles are questioned in Kendrick’s delivery of his hit single “Alright“, an untitled song and the rendition of “The Blacker The Berry” to further emphasize his assertions.
